If the cover formatting for different file types requires more work and design, extra rates may apply:

• Dust jacket print file: +€50

• Hardcover print file (if extra to the paperback): +€30

• Vector file for special finishes (UV spot varnishing, foil stamping etc…): +€50

• Extra designs (book edges, spine artwork, etc…): TBD

• Social media graphics (3D mockup, banners etc…): +€40

For the illustration, the artist offers three (3) revisions during the sketching process and two (2) during the general painting process. Additional fees for extra revisions may apply.

For the design, the artist offers three revisions. Additional fees for extra revisions may apply.

• From one to six weeks depending on details

• Depending on schedule, the artist may accept rush commissions.

• Quick turnaround fee: +50/100%

• The final design remains property of the artist. The client can't copy the design, modify it, use it for derivative work, and resell it without the artist’s express permission.

• The client can request a copyright transfer for the artwork and design (excluding material the artist may not own, like fonts).

The fee is calculated in percentage (100/200%) and it’s applied to the project’s quote.

An exclusive commercial license for the use of the design, granted for 5 years, is included in my quote.

The license may be used for digital and print marketing of the book, including but not limited to social media posts, website posts, and advertisements.

The license doesn’t include the commercial use of the artwork for art prints and merchandise.

Upon expiration, the license can be renewed.

Payments can be made upfront, split in more instalments, or made after approval of the preview of the final work.

• With a debit/credit card via Stripe (no account needed)

• Bank transfer

Recommended method for international clients: Wise.

Payment fees are not included in the artist’s quote, but will be communicated to the client within an agreement document.
In general, PayPal fees vary between 3,4% (Europe) and 5,6% (non-EU countries, US, Canada, Australia…), and Stripe’s vary between 1,25% and 3,25%.

Normal bank transfers are recommended to European customers, and the bank transfer Wise is recommended to worldwide customers for its cheapest fee rate at an average of €4.

In case of cancellation of the commission*:

• If a sketch/work in progress have been delivered, the artist may keep the equivalent that has already been paid and refund the client of the rest (50%-30%)

• If the client hasn't received the sketch/ work in progress yet, they will receive a total refund.

• If the commission is cancelled by the artist, the client will receive a total refund.

*In case of cancellation of the order, the client has no rights to use any images, sketches or completed, of the artist.
